The aftermath of the war which took place in the Great- Lakes region of Africa particularly in Rwanda, Congo, Burundi, Sudan, Angola, Chad and Uganda brought a severe social crisis to these countries. Among victims there are also children though they are innocent and harmless since they don't ignite or deal with the conflicts caused by the adults.
Even if in most cases these conflicts are caused by educated men, politicians and intellectuals, their actions cannot find any justification. The use of force or any other form of abuse that violate the human rights and especially child rights, children who have nothing to do with these conflicts.
Being future Masters of their countries the Volunteers for Peace realized that it is imperative that we assist these innocent peoples by the achievement of charitable acts and the education/sensitization on Peace building through activities that attract them the most. Thus we can teach them to make good and they will grow in this environment of Peace, Friendship, Tolerance and Solidarity between men.
The main goal is to create psychological, emotional, social and material conditions so that all these children in difficult situations can enjoy peace and rights to family and school education, while trying to satisfy their vital needs: food, clothing and medical care.
